Moso bamboo, known as the giant bamboo or timber bamboo, has been used for centuries to fashion buildings, flooring, and culinary tools. The young shoots are often prepared into Asian dishes. We used this beautiful and renewable plant to create our Moso Bamboo Soap Shelf, a perfect dry resting spot for the DISH BLOCK® dishwashing soap.
This soap holder was designed specifically to fit the NoToxLife dishwashing bar. We like that this holds the soap in place so we can run a sponge or scrub brush over it without ever having to pick the soap block up. The cross braces are offset so that when your soap bar starts to wear down you can just flip the soap holder over and more of the bar will be exposed. The crossbars also allow water to drain out which extends the lift of any soap bar you place in it.
