We love that this is a minority-owned, small business making and selling high-quality conditioner bars. Our favorite is the coconut-scented version because it smells delicious but doesn’t leave an overpowering smell. Bohicket doesn’t leave a buildup in our hair, regardless of the water conditions and we love that this bar doesn’t need much coaxing (or water) to get lathered. Lastly, we’ve found that if you keep it relatively dry in between uses it doesn’t suffer from the soap slime effect that reduces overall life.
Run the conditioner bar under the shower water and then start the lather in your hand. You can then rub the conditioner bar directly onto your scalp/hair until the desired lather is reached. Store in an area of your shower where the bar is allowed to fully dry between uses to extend the life of the conditioner bar.
Treva is the creator of Bohicket Apothecary. She began making soap 15 years ago and is a self-taught soapmaker. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University where she studied Culinary Arts. Treva started out with making soy candles and natural soap. Today her products have expanded to much more - they open the senses, are soothing, and filled with goodness.
